On The Run Again....

Well....today I ran my second 5k. It went OK. I actually beat my time at the Dayton 5k a couple of weeks ago. My time for this race was 32.37....I beat my Dayton time by 3 minutes. This course was a little easier than the Dayton course (it was not on a gravel road and trail). I ran with Mel and Cobly (and Hayden, Austin and Wyatt). It was a lot of fun. Now time to train for the 10k that is in November.....

Taylor Family Party

This past Saturday we had a Taylor family party (minus Jeff, Erin and their kids). Happy Anniversary to Jeff and Erin!!!!!! We really missed the five of you! It was a lot of fun. The only bad thing was the wind. It blew just while we ate and then it cleared up. Thanks to everyone for bringing something for the meal.

Nieces and Nephews

I know that I am biased, but I have the cutest nieces and nephews in the entire world. I am so blessed that we live close enough that I get to watch all of them grow up.

Cache Valley Cruise-In

Erik and I went to the cruise-in parade on Saturday. I was OK but there were too many newer cars. I have posted some pictures of our favorite cars.
This is by far the sweetest car in the cruise-in. An orange with white racing stripes SS Camero.....SWEET!!!

Running My First 5K

I can't believe it. I ran my first 5k on July 3, 2010 in Dayton, ID. My brothers, Brian and Chad, ran it with me. I felt so good after I ran it. I remember in 6th grade, Mr. Beutler made us run a mile. I complained the whole time. Now look at me, running a 5k. It was so much fun running with my brothers (I did miss my sister and sister-in-law).

Ready......Set......Go
Running up the Westside Highway. Feeling great.... Chad being funny. He did great considering he had a cold and couldn't breath very well.Here we are running across the lawn. We are almost done at this point. Finally crossing the finish line. I believe there were about 55 contestants. I finished 51st with a time fo 35:00. I was happy because I bettered my time by about 2 minutes from what I usually do on the treadmill. Thanks Chad and Brian for running with me. It was a lot of fun. Hope to do some more races with you in the future.
