Well, I had to post this today. I have been getting up every morning and running 3 miles. Last week I ran 6 out of 7 days. (I was so proud of myself!) Today running, I actually ran my fastest morning time, 34 minutes! It about killed me but I did it. I have so enjoyed my morning runs. Smithfield is a beautiful city and I love enjoying everything as I run. My favorite thing is looking at the temple as I run down 100 east and approach 400 south. There is such a pretty view of the temple from here. The next run is July 4th, then Logan's 24th, trying to find one for August, and Chad and I are planning on Top of Utah 5k (anyone else who wants to join us is more than welcome). I am trying to run one every month until it's too cold. See how it goes.

Patriotic House
So we have a couple new additions to our house. Erik and I purchased a flag and now it is flying proudly at our house. I made the wreath below that will soon hang on our door.
1st Annual Taylor Family Fun Run/Day
It was a beautiful day....although it was HOT!
Wyatt coming across the finish line first....on his bike.
These three little boys did awesome!
Wyatt crossing the finish line again...this time running.
Such a little cutie!
The boys cheering on Grace....let's go Gracie!!!
Chloe and Halle know how to finish in style!
They were so cute with their huge smiles!
Mom finishing her mile. We kept thinking that dad decided to walk further and meet us at the silos. Come to find out he was walking along the pipe to the right of the picture. He wanted to see if he could still do it....he used to do it all the time as a little kid. Guess what, he still has it. He walked to whole way back on top and didn't even fall off. Way to go dad!!!!
Only thing he encountered was a tree....
Brian and Wendi finishing strong. Wendi wanted to make it in under 37 minutes and she did....WAY TO GO WEN!!!
Me and Chad finishing. It was so hot and Chad had a cold so we walked about half of the 5k. That's okay because I had a great talk with my little bro.
Melanie, Hannah and Gracie finishing the race.
Colby crossing the finish line. He ran the mile with the kids and then ran the 5k+ with Mel.
Funny story about the next two pictures. We were sitting under the tree talking with Colby comes out and says something to the effect of not knowing women's fashion but he was sure that swimsuits were not supposed to look like this. Cute as ever little Halle comes around the tree with her swimsuit on backwards. Everyone got a good laugh and she was kind of embarrassed. She is sure a little cutie and I love her to pieces!
Cute little Hannah Banana...can't believe she is almost 1!
Random shot throughout the afternoon.

Proud!!
I am very proud of my husband and his service in the military. Every year he participates at Boys State by doing a 21 gun salute memorial. He is so handsome when he is in his uniform!
Willow Flat Hike
Saturday, June 9th, Melanie planned a hike up to the spring at Willow Flat. It was so much fun and it was a great day for a hike.
The scenery was so beautiful!!!
The best part of the day was spending it with my love!
It was fun spending time with family as well.....such do LOVE these people!

2012 Smithfield Health Days
It was cold waiting for the race to start.
Stretch in Mel.
Wyatt showed me how fast he could ran and then gave me knucks!
Coming to the finish line.
Go Mel, Colby and Wyatt....almost there.
My three running buddies, they are the greatest.
Mel, Colby and their cheerleader, Wyatt!
Thanks mom and dad for your support! Love you guys!!!!
The Health Days 5k went great. Chad and I felt like it was the best race we had ever ran - until we got our time. We ran the race .33 seconds faster last year. At least we both felt really good about the race. Mel and Colby did great too! Looking forward to next year!

Stein Erikson Lodge
On Friday evening, I got to have fun with one of my favorite families....the Taylor's (Wendi and the kids). It was so much fun. Wendi picked me up and we headed for Park City. Wendi had a meeting and I got to tag along and watch the kids while she was in her meeting. We got to Park City late, but our hotel was WOW!!! I have never stayed in anything so nice. Thanks Wendi for inviting me!!!!
The entrance to the lodge.
The master bedroom.
The master bathroom...that shower was so nice.
LOL....Gid wanted a picture of the phone by the toilet.
The living room. The door behind Wendi led out to the balcony that had a hot tub...and yes, we didn't bring swimsuits.
The full-size kitchen.
Such cute kids....
Gracie attempting to walk in my shoes....which have about 5" heels. She did pretty good for an almost 6 year old.
The living room, complete with a 55" TV.
View from our balcony.
